These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Dynankle website and the purchase and use of our walking club products, including annual club memberships, weekend walk passes, trail essentials kits, and participation in guided walks organised by Dynankle in Wellington, New Zealand.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing dynankle.world, purchasing any of our products, registering for a guided walk, or submitting an enquiry through our contact form, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our website or purchase our walking club products.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to dynankle.world. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
About Our Services
Dynankle operates a walking club based in Wellington, New Zealand. We offer guided walking outings, membership packages, walk passes, and trail gear designed for local conditions. Product descriptions, pricing, and availability on our website are subject to change without prior notice.
All prices displayed on dynankle.world are in New Zealand dollars and include GST unless otherwise stated. We make every effort to ensure product information is accurate, but we do not warrant that descriptions, pricing, or other content is error-free.
Membership Terms
Annual Club Membership grants access to scheduled guided walks, seasonal events, digital trail guides, and member communications for a period of twelve months from the date of activation. Membership is personal and non-transferable unless explicitly approved by Dynankle in writing.
Members must comply with walk safety guidelines, follow guide instructions during outings, and behave respectfully toward fellow walkers and the natural environment. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership for conduct that jeopardises safety, violates trail etiquette, or disrupts the walking club community.
Membership renewal reminders are sent prior to expiration. Failure to renew does not automatically extend membership benefits. Lapsed members may rejoin at the current membership rate published on dynankle.world.
Weekend Walk Pass Terms
Weekend Walk Passes entitle the holder to participate in five guided weekend walks within three months of purchase. Passes are valid only for walks designated as eligible on our schedule. Walks must be booked in advance through our contact form.
Unused walks expire at the end of the three-month validity period and are not refundable or transferable. Pass holders must meet the fitness requirements stated for each walk and arrive at the designated meeting point on time.
Trail Essentials Kit Terms
The Trail Essentials Kit includes a day pack, refillable water bottle, rain cover, and Dynankle trail map set as described on our Walk Gear page. Kit contents may be updated to reflect product availability while maintaining equivalent functionality.
Gear products are sold with a fourteen-day return window for unused items in original condition. Please refer to our Return Policy for complete details on returns and exchanges.
Guided Walk Participation
Participation in guided walks organised by Dynankle is at your own risk. While our guides are trained and experienced, outdoor walking involves inherent hazards including uneven terrain, weather changes, and wildlife encounters. You are responsible for assessing your fitness level and selecting walks appropriate to your abilities.
Participants must wear suitable footwear and clothing, carry adequate water, and inform guides of any medical conditions or limitations that may affect their ability to complete a walk safely. Dynankle reserves the right to refuse participation or modify routes based on weather conditions, trail closures, or safety assessments.
Minors under sixteen years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on all guided walks unless prior written consent and arrangements have been made with Dynankle.
Intellectual Property
All content on dynankle.world, including text, images, trail maps, logos, and design elements, is the property of Dynankle or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
Trail maps provided to members and gear kit purchasers are licensed for personal use only. Commercial reproduction or distribution of our trail guides is strictly prohibited.
User Conduct
When using our website and services, you agree not to provide false or misleading information, interfere with the operation of dynankle.world, attempt unauthorised access to our systems, or use our platform for any unlawful purpose.
Content submitted through our contact form must be respectful and relevant to our walking club products and services. We reserve the right to disregard or delete submissions that are abusive, spam, or unrelated to our offerings.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, Dynankle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, products, or participation in guided walks.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the purchase or use of walking club products shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dynankle, its guides, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these terms, your participation in guided walks, or your misuse of our products and services.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Dynankle products and services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
